AIA Eastern Oklahoma invites architects, building owners, and contractors to attend the Chapter's inaugural Awards Celebration on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the Williams Resource Center in downtown Tulsa. 

The 2009 Awards Celebration has a variety of categories that encompass the ways design professionals influence the quality of life in our communities and leave an enduring imprint on our built environment.  The Awards program aims to encourage and recognize distinguished architectural achievement and focus public attention on the Architect's role in shaping the quality of life through design excellence!  

Chaired by Honors Committee member, James E. Turner, AIA, this event marks a new beginning in fulfilling the Chapter's mission to facilitate unity, fellowship, and education among members; promote the value of architects, and educate the public of the importance of good design and its contribution to the quality of life by honoring the best of built work by AIA Eastern Oklahoma members in 2009 and in years to come.
